I hope the best candidate wins, but I will not tear down other Democrats in the name of my "support". Not one candidate is perfect. Everyone has different issues that are more important to them than others. No need to sound like Hannity and Oreilly.

(2,104 posts)I will not do that. I will not send ANYTHING negative out on any dem candidate running for Prez. Im a Bernie supporter and there is so much positive info to send, I don't need to send out negative Hillary emails.

(26,549 posts)To some people, "Why didn't Clinton work on expanding voting as Senator?" is bashing. Leading to "return bashing".

(12,870 posts)For example, in a Democratic primary I will never vote for any candidate who voted for the IWR and/or supported giving GW Bush authority to invade Iraq.
IMO:
If that candidate was fooled by the propaganda, he or she is too incompetent to hold high office.
If that candidate was on board with the PNAC agenda, he or she is no better than GW Bush on foreign policy.
If that candidate knew what was going on but calculated it was to his or her political advantage to jump on the war wagon at that time, he or she utterly failed the American people when strong leadership was needed the most to avert a costly disaster.
Did I just "bash" John Kerry, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and nearly half the Dems who were in Congress in October 2002?

(9,126 posts)They have been under attack for a while as the party has sold out for campaign donations. There is nothing wrong with defending those principles nor demanding that a candidate of the party follow those principles. So far, they are the ONLY solution that has worked in the history of this country.
To demand party loyalty over principles is what Republicans do. To turn your back on the people who are suffering and struggling and afraid and hungry is shameful. There is no one person in the whole world worth selling out your principles for. But please, at the very least, don't ask me to sell out mine.
