whom I really loved!

Whatever his faults were, am not here to judge. I just loved him and his music. What a great artist he was? Most of the good ones die young, which is really sad.

The only thing it does is contribute to various mythologies, if that.
Jackson's "Peter Pan" thing was out of control, he wanted to stop time. That can't be done. At some point the criminal doctor entered the scene. At that point Jackson could be said to be "out of it", and it was murder.

It might have been a better world if the Jackson family, or someone, had done an "intervention". Or were capable of doing that.

A great talent, despite his pecadillos. I never bought into much of the tabloid bullshit.

I bought "I Want you Back" on 45 right after I heard it. I still remember sitting at the table when Marta and I heard the news. K&R!

until he died and MTV had a marathon of his videos. I found several new ones that I liked.

One thing that I never understood is why he had all that plastic surgery to make him look like Mickey Mouse when he was soooo good-looking in the 'Billie Jean" video. Yeah, I heard that "daddy" told him he was too black. Daddy was a jerk...

It scared them a little at first, but now they know, when the zombies come out, they just want to dance!

Jackson's story taught them a lot. About how a person can be rich and talented and still have troubles. A very nice looking young man can have issues with how they look. We did go back to how he sounded and looked when I was a kid.

A wonderful talent and I don't know how anyone could listen to his music (especially Billie Jean) and not feel moved to get up and dance!!!!(Even with a bad hip!)

but a deeply troubled man who did harm to others and lived a life of lies.

I think they both should be acknowledged.
