CAN Congress pass law to restrict "Trade" Bills to be ONLY about TRADE

... and not suing government for "lost profits" re environmental & other regulations, not about outsourcing US jobs, not about protecting big Pharma's monopolistic over-reach and certainly not about ceding national sovereignty to secret corporate-driven tribunals.

Would this be theoretically possible to do?

are about with NO riders. The reason they don't is so they can tack their "pet" idea onto anyplace it might be able to hide it in any bill.
Sneaky, underhanded, and should be illegal.

Sorry, but those issues are simple reality in the current global economic environment.

The best bet will be pushing for a vote against TPP if you do not like the final version (whatever that will be).

I would just like to stop all these secretive corporate encroachments on US national
sovereignty ... yes one could make a case that pretty much anything is "trade related" but
that doesn't make it magically "beneficial" to US working people or to the poor, or even
the 99%/
