Our President is dumbfounded that Congressional Democrats were uncooperative today

Seemed like a good strategy; what went wrong?

Must be the fault of the Professional Left.

(Why yes, I did have two French 75s in celebration, how could you tell?

They can't just pass this without some shenanigans. The TPA passed after all. Now it's just shifting blame and trying to apply lipstick. Giving money to workers who's jobs have been shifted to countries with 60 cent an hour wages just postpones the inevitable anyway. Wall Street Rules. That's where the money is.

By Wednesday of next week the President will have his fast track and soon the TPP will become law.

I hope I'm wrong.

They give the appearance of resistance to pacify the "unwashed" then turn around and perform the obvious capitulation with absurd excuses.

It's become all too familiar.

about the day

A brand new trade agreement, all wrapped up in pretty paper with a giant red bow on top. Obama and Clinton- the Free Trade Presidents, working with Republicans.

Where's Ross Perot?

Too bad Sir James Goldsmith isn't around anymore

It's why the TAA was the focus of Democrats: they knew they might defeat the TAA, and the TAA is needed for the TPA to proceed under the Senate agreement.

Does it make you feel smarter or something?

The lyrics to the songbird's melodious trill go something like this:
"Stay out of my territory or I'll PECK YOUR GODDAMNED EYES OUT!"

If we don't do everything in our power to stop that, TPP will be just the beginning.
