Jeb! and his family thought he could get away with committing electoral fraud in Florida in 2000.

To this date, I'm not aware of any accountability for any of the serious violations of civil rights that took place during that horrendous election.

As mentioned in http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026959257#post33

the civil rights commission found evidence of profound violation of 14 percent of black voters' civil rights in Florida.
Have We Forgotten That Jeb Bush Committed Election Fraud in ‘Bush v Gore’ Scam?
http://www.ringoffireradio.com/2015/04/have-we-forgotten-that-jeb-bush-committed-election-fraud-in-bush-v-gore-scam/“There emerges a confluence of circumstances that indicates intimidation and harassment of the Florida voters, and that was set in motion long before the November election,” said Victoria Wilson of the US Commission on Civil Rights. In 2001, Wilson accused Florida officials of violating voting rights because over 14 percent of Florida black voters’ ballots weren’t counted.

Jeb Bush blamed for unfair Florida election

"Civil rights commission says minorities were disenfranchised by governor's 'gross dereliction' in ignoring problems"

Hold him accountable!

he got away with it. If he is the nominee, we need to hammer that home. And let's not leave it to the African Americans entirely. We all have to speak up.

If he isn't going to go to jail, at least he can be reminded, and the voters can be reminded. He is a cheater with no sense of right and wrong or duty.

IOW, a Bush.

the US is becoming a banana republic. And it's not just presidential elections, it's also for representative and governor races.

Cheat, lie, and steal, that's all repugs know how to do.

draconian 1 day in jail per fraudulently tabulated vote.

It's reasonable inasmuch as 1 day in jail is not cruel punishment for willfully obstructing a valid voter from casting their rightful vote.

But an IT person who doesn't have a million dollars for legal fees will think twice before becoming a pawn in computer based electoral fraud involving thousands of votes.

It is my opinion that day in particular, the shinanigans in Florida, the actions of the SCOTUS, the stolen election in general, was the tipping point, to our utter loss of our democracy. The Democratic Party leaders treated it like a lost tennis match. "Good game ole boy, let's all go have a martini and talk about lower taxes on us, and maybe sending the young off to a war."

but I'm too old and arthritic to take it to the streets anymore.
I did my share while I could.
Now it is time for the younger generation to do what we couldn't do.

They did a great job with OWS, and are still making it work.
Watching my younger self at the OWS encampments made me feel old,
but very, very proud.
I will do what I can to help.
