so the media is surprised that the avowed birther is a birther
As it turns out Trump was just warming up on March 17 during his interview on Good Morning America:
"He grew up and nobody knew him. You know? When you interview people, if ever I got the nomination, if I ever decide to run, you may go back and interview people from my kindergarten. They'll remember me. Nobody ever comes forward. Nobody knows who he his until later in his life. It's very strange. The whole thing is very strange."
Less than a week later on the View, he blurted out his most direct attack on Barack Obama:
"Why doesn't he show his birth certificate? There's something on that birth certificate that he doesn't like."
