Trump says he would send Syrian refugees back if elected

WASHINGTON

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump would send all the Syrian refugees the United States accepts back to Syria if he is elected, he said on Wednesday at an event in Keene, New Hampshire.

Trump also said after President Barack Obama reduced American troop levels in Iraq, rebels forces "knocked the shit out of everybody." He reminded his audience that he opposed the war in Iraq when it began.

1. Conservatives in Europe feel the same way. The American idiot knows his idiot base.

A few weeks ago, Trump seemed to hedge on accepting refugees saying something like "I don't like it but it is probably the right thing to do." Obviously, he has since figured out that the nativist republican base does not want to hear anything of that sort. So he now goes with another version of "Keep the foreigners and their stuff out." That will play well with his base.
