NBC Marist Poll: Trump leads in NH & IA but lead is falling...

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll in New Hampshire finds Donald Trump leading the GOP field with 21%, followed by Carly Fiorina at 16%, Jeb Bush at 11%, Marco Rubio at 10% and Ben Carson at 10%. (In previous NH poll last month Trump had 28% while Fiorina had only 6%--Jeb! also is gaining ground as in previous NH poll he had 8%).

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll in Iowa finds Donald Trump leading the GOP field with 24%, followed by Ben Carson at 19%, Carly Fiorina at 8%, Jeb Bush at 7%, Ted Cruz at 6%, Marco Rubio at 6% and Bobby Jindal at 6%. (In previous Iowa poll from September Trump lead Carson 29-22--so both Trump and Carson have dropped, and Fiorina has gone from 5% to 8% and Jeb! has gained a point. Cruz, Rubio and Jindal have all gained as well.)

has received as a free gift, is the main reason for his otherwise inexplicabe rise to political fame. He certainly a consummate showman, and the ringmaster extraordinaire, but his political acclaim is something short of nonsense. He's ridden the bubble of media hype about as far as he can, and just like his similarly bombastic counterparts from the last election cycle, his eventual collapse will be a media extravaganza.

Fiorina or Carson will probably the new flavor of the month for a while. This cycle of loud mouth idiots getting their month will continue (maybe Ted Cruz will get to be on top for a week who knows) until the money men behind the scenes realize they need an establish candidate to win and fix the election for Jeb or maybe Kasich or Rubio.
