1. 12 August 1966: Shepherd's Bush murders (3 deaths) Three Metropolitan Police officers shot while investigating a car outside Wormwood Scrubs prison.
2. 19 August 1987: Hungerford massacre Hungerford, England (16 deaths, 15 injured) A spree shooting/murder–suicide by Michael Robert Ryan.
3. 13 March 1996: Dunblane school massacre (18 deaths, 15 injured) A school shooting/murder–suicide by Thomas Hamilton.
4. 2 June 2010: Cumbria shootings (12 deaths, 11 injured) A killing spree/murder–suicide by Derrick Bird.
