See? It is about the Ol' Ball Coach!
South Carolina officials are working to prepare for Saturdays game against LSU in Williams-Brice Stadium, but are not yet able to say theyll be able to host the game
We are not 100 percent sure at this time that we will have a game at Williams-Brice, athletics director Ray Tanner said Tuesday afternoon.
Williams-Brice Stadium and the surrounding areas survived the storm without any major damage, and the stadium and field were mostly dry on Tuesday morning. The potential issues with hosting the game include water service to the city, availability of police and first responders who normally help work home football games and access to all parts of the city, Tanner said.
There have been lots of discussions in the last few hours, Tanner said. There are conversations about possibly moving the game to another city. More than one is being talked about it.
