I skipped a great deal of John Gault's speech, the repeated rhetoric of a crazy person. Just couldn't stomach it even back then.

The funny thing is that the form of Franchise reminds me of the Lottery.

The Lottery. That's a first but I kinda love it.

I eventually read it. But back in high school, I think it was a 60 page speech, about 40 of those pages were just too much
