I thought it was planned parenthood funding. Heck social security deductions using CSI would not result in a closure since some democratic politicians are for it too.

I wouldn't be surprised if the tea party didn't commission Britebart to hoke up the Planned Parenthood videos just so they could cut funding for women's health care.

The rich hate the rest of us.

As such, they will be emboldened to try it again. With a middle of the month deadline and the holidays immediately after, I'm unsure how much the average American would notice a shutdown until January. Even then, ten months is an eternity in politics during an election year.
