NORMAN The murder defendant accused of beheading a co-worker at a Moore food plant justified what he did by claiming he and others were mistreated there, a psychologist said Tuesday.
"He said, 'They weren't treating me fairly,'" psychologist Shawn Roberson testified Tuesday.
Cleveland County District Judge Lori Walkley is hearing testimony in a two-day trial to determine if Alton Alexander Nolen is competent or must undergo treatment at a state mental hospital.
Roberson evaluated Nolen for an hour April 6 at the request of the judge. Roberson determined Nolen is competent and also found no indication of mental retardation.
