Pretty much a rained out Halloween, in Flint Michigan, tonight

Had maybe 20 kids stop by, which is way less than any previous year. The weather report, last week, was for a warm and dry night with rain after midnight, so I bought extra candy. Instead, it's cold, windy and rainy. Guess I know what I'll be snacking on, for the rest of the year. Fortunately I bought stuff I like.

Time for some mead!

The last couple of kids who came to the door were really wet, but seemed to be having a great time.

Not the common type of rain here, either (which is not much more than a mist, for all that it can last for weeks) Families know how to plan their costumes for that. Nope, it's been hammering down most of the day. I never get trick-or-treaters (secure condo building...), but I suspect it's going to be a disappointing evening for a lot of the little ones.

I still had a good parade of kids stop by the house. And I think it just kind of heavy misted, the year before. Nothing like tonight, that's for sure.

Flint Township has a 5:30 - 8:pm window for trick or treating, and my last car full stopped by at 7:55. They were drenched.

The 'Picture of Dorian Gray' is on Turner Classic Movies, followed by 'Curse of the Demons'. I love the older 'horror' flicks!

We had a decent number of kids come through. Good plan to buy stuff you like. I do that too. Enjoy the mead!
