The GOP has destroyed this country to the point of armed, mentally unstable, CTers running around doing "God's work". No...you are doing the GOPs work for them.

The scary thing is this is not the first time nor will it be the last. And now they shot a cop, you know malaise...to save lives.

Frankly I think America is becoming unhinged and The Donald is a perfect example of it. So is Ted Cruz and Ben Carson, neither man responsible enough to hold onto an ice cream cone.

I've seen a couple of people commenting on the local news and on my FB feed that this started at the bank,
then the guy ran outside shooting at passing cars, then ran to PP.

That could all be bull p maybe he did target the PP clinic - but my point is that we just don't know what we don't know yet.

Could be a bank robbery gone bad, could be he started at PP because ex GF works there, could be he is a radical Christianist terrorist bent on hurting people at a PP.

Still five people in the building according to the police scanner.

Fri Nov 27, 2015, 08:55 PM

.

This is a really weird split in mentality.

These Libertarian types bitch about paying taxes, yet they want additional births to hit their local, state, and federal taxes--to the tune of $18-20K per kid per year. Wealthier families will find a way to get abortions, leaving the people who are more prone to rely on WIC, SNAP, daycare, medicaid, food stamps, school lunches, etc.. The poorer households will be affected more income and job wise, casting them in a lower financial stratus that is difficult to rise from.

The white supremacists bitch about too many 'others,' yet the poor will feel the brunt more, and since there is rampant discrimination in this country, the minorities will suffer from abortion service cuts--leading to more non-whites being born. These guys are really stupid.

There needs to be a Libertarian discussion on the economics of having thousands of extra unplanned births hitting a state's budgets. Each birth will result in over $300K of additional taxes. Rick Perry found this out when he cut abortion services and there were 7K more births, causing over $120M in additional taxes and expenses each year, for 18 years, until the kids are emancipated. And that will be for only one birth year. If you have that same rate or more each and every year, it will pyramid into the billions by the time all grade levels in school are filled with those addional kids.

UPDATE 4:06 p.m.: CSPD Lt. Catherine Buckley confirms that the shooting did start at the Planned Parenthood on Centennial Boulevard. There had earlier been conflicting reports that the shooting may have started in a different area near the building.

Some victims reportedly left Planned Parenthood and went to a nearby bank.

Buckley told reporters that there is only one gunman, and does not know his identity. She confirmed the shooter remains holed up in the building that houses Planned Parenthood, and that he has been shooting at officers for the last couple of hours.

Four officers are confirmed injured; Buckley said it's unconfirmed if a fifth was also hurt. There is no word on their conditions, and Buckley could not confirm if there were any fatalities. Several civilians were also injured.

What I see is a guy who attacked a clinic and who reportedly took long distance pot-shots at other retail businesses to draw police into his kill zone.

There have been a handful of these type of attacks in the past decade, this once again shows other violent deviants how it's done.

Let's hope it's not a harbinger of a season to come.

Whatever summaries, ranges, and central tendencies can be developed from other attacks, we don't yet know how this shooter fits into models developed from descriptions of others.

The social media posts identifying a shooter, which may have -nothing- to do with the actual shooter, suggest the shooter is simply trying to enforce -conservative- ideals, not christian ideals.

Your definition of Christian behavior is probably diametrically opposed to that of people like Tony Perkins, Ted Cruz, and the rest of the radical religious right!

From the most radical of the candidates I expect some form of victim-blaming, along the lines of how emotionally distraught the shooter had become over abortion, and while of course he was not justified in his actions, fill in the blanks; and how brave the cops were (I agree with this part) in trying to save all those people.
