Groups from Flint and Detroit are meeting up for the protest:
The rally is set for noon next Thursday the 14th in front of the capitol building in Lansing. It's goal? Demanding justice for Flint.
"Letting the government, the state know that we've had enough and that we need things to happen immediately not next month not next year but right now," said water activist and rally organizer Arthur Woodsen.
"We are tired of being misrepresented by our elected officials. So this is about the people and this is who we're serving. And that's what we're after. They deserve better from Lansing and Washington," said Pastor Allen Gilbert with Bethel Apostolic Church in Flint.
There's no word yet on how many people are expected to be there -but in the past couple of days momentum has definitely been building. On Friday activists from Detroit came to support Flint residents in a protest in front of city hall.
Exposure from national media outlets has brought even more attention to the city's water emergency - and in just days documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has collected more than 61,000 signatures on a petition calling for Governor Snyder's arrest.
