In effect the refusal of fundamentalist employers and Catholic Church run institutions is about not wanting their employees to practice birth control. They actually want to make NOT using contraceptives or family planning a condition of employment. Of course such policy probably is not legal.
It is bad enough that they want to use government to curtail such a private decision. However they want to expand these limits to employment and who knows what else.
