More Good Cops: Police Shot 12-Year-Old Girl To Death While Evicting Her Family From Their Home

Police just shot and killed a 12-year-old girl in Duncannon, Pennsylvania as they were in the process of evicting her family from their home.

Local WHTM reports that the girl’s family members identified her as Susquenita Middle School student Ciara Meyer.

She was described by her uncle as a “wonderful girl, full of life.”

These badge wearers are worthless pigs.

I know, they're not all bad. It's a tough job I couldn't do. . .yadda yadda yadda! Girl was 12 years old.

Going to have to mark this one down as a tragic accident. If not then I will agree another scared cop with no care for peoples lives.

the bullet went through dads arm. A tragedy to be sure but not intentional he was clearly firing at dad regardless and if dad did indeed point a gun at him I can't really ask an officer to wait till dad shoots at him to fire.

If he didn't, and we will likely never know, I would agree another dickhead cop.

The man had 30 rounds in the magazine of what was probably an AR-15 as well as a round chambered when he drew his rifle in the constable, who then shot him. The shot went through the asshole's arm and into his daughter's body.

Who knows what the asshole was planning - making his daughter witness her father commit a murder? watch his suicide-by-cop? I have no doubt that he was well aware that drawing a weapon on a cop was not going to end well.

Is he telling the truth? Killing a 12 year old might create a motive to lie.

If the dad really pointed a loaded weapon at his chest, how did the cop have time to pull out his own gun and shoot without the dad firing first?

It's possible the dad owned the rifle, and maybe even had it on him when answering the door. But did he actually attempt to use it? Meanwhile, the cop may have been anticipating a shootout. Remember, only certain types / classes get away with open carry in front of cops.

According to The Counted, a database maintained by the Guardian newspaper that tracks killings by US law enforcement, Ciara was the 21st person and first child killed by police since the beginning of 2016.
