White kids are playing with realistic-looking "assault weapons" and not being shot, their fucking daddies are taking over federal lands using REAL weapons with apparent impunity, and your advice to black kids is to "go inside"?

We might as well put up a sign welcoming them to the plantation. Then again, it's good training for schooling.

I rarely watch this drivel, but I had turned on the tv to watch my rope opera - Gunsmoke - and was hooking up the dog with her pill while I listened.

The women playing the conservatives on here think it's a good idea, of course. But the rest give liberals a bad name. I'm astounded that not one of these airheads challenged that, other than the typical "well, they shouldn't be making such guns". Yeah, but they are. And it doesn't address the racism.

Lots of applause from the audience with their mostly white approval, filling their heads with this. Then they teach their kids.

1. I've found that the discussion on "The View" is reliably myopic

I don't think the hosts are bad, or that they're stupid, or anything like that. I think they're all jockeying to sound more "plain common sense" than each other though, which results in a sot of lowest common denominator rhetoric. There's not a lot of deep thought amid the slut-shaming, name-mocking, and... whatever this would be called.
