All three wear black balaclavas as they rush outside and run to the front entrance of the headquarters that has been held by anti-government occupiers for the past two weeks.........

I don't want to see this wonderful old facility destroyed. I don't like the idea of even delusional seditionists dying over this nonsense.

But enough is fucking enough. Cordon off the area, allowing no movement or resupply, etc. Move a single tank platoon (4 Abrams tanks...) in and give them one hour. You don't need anyone within their sniper range except the tanks, and nothing in the seditionists' arsenal is going to do more than scratch the paint on a tank. No need to place anyone but the seditionists at risk.

If their talk of being "willing to die," proves to be more than just big-talking bullshit (which I doubt), so be it. Then confiscate their estates to pay for rebuilding the refuge facility.

When spring arrives, so will hoards of people expecting to observe birds at the refuge. If the occupiers try to stop them, there will be trouble. Birders can get pretty intense, and they're not going to go away just because some rifle waving, cammo wearing guy gives them some spiel about the constitution.
