Talk about bad timing. Sarah Palin ditches the national spotlight and the day she comes back, her kid is getting charged with hitting a female. You can't make this stuff up.

1. Minor Problem

This is like a parking ticket to that family. I'm sure they'll get one of their friends to take care of it.

At worst he might get community service or perhaps just probation.

If you think they're going to let a little thing like this, or another illegitimate kid by her daughter, damage their brand, you're mistaken. Stuff like that happens to you or I, but not the holier than thou Palin clan.

I really hate it when people, in this case, the newspaper, use "female."

It is dehumanizing.

And yes, I realize police reports do the same thing in an effort to appear objective, but it's kind of annoying to see it in a news article, even if it's just the headline.
