US. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Tuesday that “most likely I won’t be doing the debate” on Fox News in Des Moines, Iowa, scheduled for Thursday night.

The billionaire businessman made the comment at a news conference in Marshalltown, Iowa, as the nomination race nears its first contest, the Iowa caucuses, on Monday.

Trump has been engaged in a public spat with Fox News since a debate last August in which he said he was subject to unfair questioning by moderator Megyn Kelly.

“Let’s see how much money Fox makes without me in the debate,” Trump told the news conference.

If he can't stand a right-wing TV presenter giving him mild criticism, he'll never manage to hold down a job in national or international politics.

Calling Faux out on their agenda is an important piece in dismantling the repug lie machine.

If I were him, my "competing" event would be a debate with all the other candidates not allowed on the Faux debate on the air at the same time. It would draw a larger audience than the Faux debate and would be a kick in Rupert Murdock's gonads.

because he doesn't like Megyn Kelly who is hosting the debate - and he doesn't like her because at the first GOP debate, she quoted verbatim his own words about women.

They asked him softball questions. Trump, they went after. None of the other candidates got grilled like Trump did.
