As for the possibility that Trump might raise money for veterans, according to Red State that may be problematic. Trump's used Wounded Warriors for publicity in the past, but they've had their tax-exempt status taken away, and RS reports that other veterans' groups are refusing to associate themselves with Trump.

Funny thing...I turned on the TV to watch an old program on one of the sub channels. They showed ads for the Wounded Warriors group several times, all the while they were reporting of the growing scandal.

I guess they paid for their spots, so they are getting them.
