Obama's approval in the Gallup poll over the last two weeks is better than its been since mid 2013

In the midst of all the primary fighting, that is incredibly good news for all Democrats. For the last two weeks, his approval rating has been higher (with the exception of one day when he was one point lower) than his disapproval rating. http://pollingreport.com/obama_job1.htm

I also can't think of anything that has happened that has led to this genuine improvement in his numbers. It is interesting that this happened while the stock market plunged and neither ISIS or Syria was demonstratively better. It started a few days before we got our sailors and the men held in prison back from Iran and the Iran deal was implemented, but even they had happened before the turning point, I do not think enough people would have changed because of that.

No matter which Democrat wins, this is very important. The stronger Obama is the better advocate he is for continuing with a Democrat.

Who in their right mind would vote for one of those idiots running on the GOP ticket? I know they have their braindead base who will stick with them no matter what, but anyone with a rational mind can see through their insane agenda of more wars, more tax breaks for the rich, more privatization, and their constant attempt to try and be more insane that Donald Trump!

Not to mention, the Republicans who constantly speak of the intent of the founders -- would not want to on this!

I imagine that I am not alone in already being nostalgic for Obama being president -- and he is still here!
