Lynx have wispy points of hair on their ears and mane and are not found that far south in the US. There are generally a creature of the deep forest where bobcats can be found in a variety of habitats. I have seen both in the wild and they truly are as you say, magnificent.

(7,488 posts)and respect the big cats more than anything. Bears are just big slow clumsy brutes compared to the stealth and intelligence of say a mountain lion.

(7,488 posts)I've been all over North America but never outside of it except for Hawaii, which in a geologic sense is "outside". Where in SA was it?

(128 posts)They have in on video too. It was the first confirmed Jaguar in USA sight on video, I think it was in AZ this week.
