The whole article is worth a read! http://money.cnn.com/2016/02/12/media/joe-scarborough-donald-trump-nbc/index.html
The anecdotes, which were meant as a testament to Trump's off-the-cuff political savvy, drew laughter from the audience. But today, at NBCUniversal's headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Center, Scarborough's relationship with the Republican presidential frontrunner has become a subject of frustration among staff, and an increasingly problematic issue for the network's top brass.
Four of those sources also said that the growing media scrutiny over the two men's relationship has caused the network's leadership to more closely monitor Scarborough's comments. "The higher-ups are definitely aware about what's going on," said another person within MSNBC. "It's an issue."

(Donald also spent Christmas in Florida at Mar-A-Lago, presumably with Joe.)

I'm no fan of Dead Intern Man, but there seems to be a bit of a double standard at play here.
Hope Scarborough brings it up when they call him on the carpet.

(58,785 posts)as not a just highly undesirable but potentially disastrous nominee, and they do have "better," more electable alternatives.
MSNBC is owned by NBCUniversal, owned by Comcast, owned/controlled by Brian Roberts and family, a moderately liberal Jewish billionaire who is said to be fiscally liberal except for laws that affect his business. Liberal or conservative, mostly the latter, men at all levels of management are worried that losing the presidency and many down-ticket seats to the Democrats would be very bad for business, conceivably even lead to the breakup of this giant media empire -- which it definitely should.
Chris has a liberal-oriented show which, according to you (I don't watch it), gives more support to the Democratic frontrunner. We have two candidates, and the one he supports more is both a liberal and considered by all knowledgeable analysts to be far more electable.

(7,768 posts)I mean, Jesus, all he does is blab on and on about his time as a Representative from Florida...blah..blah..blah.
Bragging on himself, talking about himself, he's so smart and clever and he's an expert on how to run a campaign! You don't even need to ask him how great he is, he'll bring it up all on his own, unsolicited!
HOWEVER (cough, cough), I think there might be a little itsy-bitsy problem if his past was put under the microscope for scrutiny.
But you gotta figure he wants "The Donald" to tap him...bad! Damn, if it wasn't for all those pesky rumors and stuff..you know...bummer!
Ummm, the women..the women in his life, or the women that USED to be in his life.
(oh and that temper, that temper can get a guy in real trouble)
