Way too much hatred. I assume you are a tea party type, since I wouldn't want people who actually wish death on a political opponent on my side.

On edit, this type of vile post should be discouraged on any website that purports to be "progressive."

or

Saying something nasty TO a living person?

you might want to rethink you post - I see hypocrisy

It provides nothing of value to any kind of discussion, they are just seeking validation by the tribe.

If that's the kind of post you want to make, then by all means continue to do so.

That man did a whole lot of damage to the country — voting to roll back provisions of the voting rights act, Citizens United, selecting George W. Bush and thus Iraq, Afghanistan, ISIS, the economic crash and on and on and on.

He is not missed one bit.

Timing is everything! I cannot manage even the tiniest bit of sympathy for this man or his family. Oh wait, I found something good to say: Thanks for dying while still on the Court, not only putting an abrupt end to your reign of bullshit, but while we have a Democratic president. Hey, it's not me! He was a devout Catholic all his life, it's divine intervention... very divine.

I feel like we're somehow clean again..

Scalia did way too much damage to way too many people for me to feel otherwise. To those of you who are raising the inevitable "We're liberals, so we have to be polite" notion, I say: take another look at Fat Tony's originalist drivel and his overt politicizing of matters, and then re-evaluate your own feelings.
