but no matter how good she looks that does not erase the fact that her husband helped to make most of the Bush tax cuts permanent.

I really had hoped for much better than that. Much better.

I know almost nobody else feels betrayed by that, but I ALWAYS will.

I certainly will not be buying or reading his book.

It's totally irrelevant to anything that actually matters. It's just fan club bullshit, or "Tiger Beat" to use the DU terminology.

If you think that's totally irrelevant, you had the option of not joining the discussion.

The fact that you think your "irrelevant" opinion on the matter was warranted speaks volumes.

I believe appearance has direct relevance to a portrait (as per portrait artists). A do not believe spouse's policy is in any way relevant to that same portrait, regardless of the junior varsity magazines you may or may not read.

under the picture it says "I am really going to miss THEM".

My own feeling is - I really feel betrayed by HIM and thus his wife being attractive does not really make me think "well, okay, I guess the betrayal is fine then".

For some reason too, Michelle was the one whose name was on the letter I got asking for more money and saying "we are fighting for you all the time". Plus they sent me pictures of the whole family.

the President betrayed the whole country by making the tax code permanently favorable to the rich.

I said I felt betrayed by that.

Naturally the bad person in this equation is ME.

Betrayal = okay
"trashing" somebody who stabs you in the back = bad

The least he could do is give me my $50 back.

Doubtless anything Trump might do as President will be okay because Melania looks so good.

the center seam of her dress distracts me. I don't know if her dress is twisted or if it moves to the right side like that. I would rather have seen her in a different fabric, I think.

I rank ER very high.

More than being stunning (which, of course, she is), she has performed her role very well, IMO. Not invisible, not more intrusive or attention-grabbing than she should have been.

Regardless of anything else I love this beautiful woman and her family. All of them have brought grace to the White House. I won't miss everything with this presidency but I will miss the Obama's. I think the gorgeous Michelle is the best first lady I've had in my 46 years.
