I'm still trying to figure out what happened last night?

With the collapse of the Tower of Babble called the Republican Presidential Debate?

The establishment fought back.

As Trump stood in the middle, he was attacked from both sides, as a pawn stood on each end.

Somehow, Cruz and Rubio will have to join forces in order to defeat Trump. Since Cruz has defined himself as an anti-establishment candidate, it might be difficult for him to join forces with Rubio and the establishment anytime soon?

If they remain fragmented, as they are now, they could go to their convention with no one holding 50% of the delegates. They would then have to "broker" a deal. Would Donald Trump be part of the deal?

The damage from the debacle last night has yet to be defined.

All I can hope, at this time, is that none of these clowns become President of the United States...

WTF is this "white" racist (apparantly not social nor cultural) concept supposed to refer to, in the US context?

I love how Carson said life and not lives, just to make the phrase even worse.

Can't wait for Bill Maher tonight!

I have often likened Trump to one of those costumed Big Time Wrestling characters.

Last night, he was tag-teamed by two little guys. I think they scored a few hits. Rubio (who is STILL weird, and a pain in the ass, and a wingnut loon) landed a direct hit with that Trump University scorn. Total Boom-Goes-The-Dyn-O-Mite on that one!!

And just as Rubio is set to go on a victory tour today, Trump steals his thunder by getting the endorsement from Chris Christie.

"One blowhard endorses another" or "One bully endorses another..." It all works.

Cruz and Rubio just have to keep their paws off each other until they make a dent in Trump. They can probably hang in for much longer if they determine to NOT beat up each other overmuch.

In the post debate analysis, Trump acted like the Big Man on Campus, insisting he "handled" them easily, but I think he was put off-stride. All they need to do is goad him enough, and he'll say something stupid. It's almost pre-ordained. They just need to get disciplined, focused, and mock the shit out of The Donald.

Or so he said on live teevee last night to Chris Cuomo after the debate.

I was gobsmacked. Even moreso today that no one has called him on it.

I had completely forgotten about the cheesy wrestlers.
Back in the day, my step dad watched tv wrestling and I remember a common question of the time was.."do you think it is fake"???
Gorgeous George, I remember in particular.
It would almost be a relief to find the candidates are being paid to act out a campaign..certainly less embarrassing.
