Just on MSNBC, Tim Miller is running a superpac to raise money to toss tRump.
When the Donald finds out that the gop isn't treating him "fairly," will he make good on his threat to run 3rd party?

The attacks on Trump could sound like the 2012 hits on Romney's work at Bain Capital.
Previewing her line of attack against Trump, Packer said: "This guy isn't a conservative. He probably isn't even a Republican. He is a con man who is incredibly vulnerable in the general election once Democrats get their hands on him."

(1,508 posts)the republican party is against Trump. Isn't Trump what they wanted. Why didn't they get a super pac to throw out the Tea Party? The ideas are similar. Why didn't they get a super pac against Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and Lee Atwater...their ideas were similar as well...Oh wait, there is a difference, Trump isn't using dog whistles, he's just stating their positions without camouflage...How dare he. Yep, they are going to have to get rid of this guy, he's exposing them. If he runs as a third party candidate the republicans are effed. If he runs as a republican the republicans are effed. What a dilemma.

Oh the self-loathing. That said I think the real issue is they can't control Trump.
He's quite psychotically random and completely self absorbed.
Ironically, another fine republican trait.

(1,508 posts)They don't mind his rhetoric, just the fact that they aren't sure they will be able to control him if he wins the presidency. Imagine the leverage he would have over the party if that happened. As I said, the republicans have a true dilemma on their hands.
