Kasich detailed in 45 seconds how he would immediately start 3 ground wars upon taking power. Don't let him fool you, he's a war monger and an extremist. He just happens to be the only candidate in that side who speaks like an adult.

No wonder Trump keeps winning. The scariest thing about the Republican presidential contest isn't the candidates, it's the people they are pandering to.

Fri Mar 4, 2016, 01:49 AM

At first Trump was a joke, but entertaining because he was saying and doing stuff no one else was and he was driving the GOP into a tizzy. It was, it is amusing seeing the GOP foaming at the mouth. Now though, it's also scary, very, very scary. He's just the culmination of the elements of the right wing, and the right wing loudmouths from Limbaugh to faux news to Glenn Beck. Just crazy, crazier, and craziest. What's even more scary though is GOP thinking Cruz or Rubio are good alternatives. OMG. I can only hope that what will come out of all this is a third party. The party for all the nutwings that demand purity from their members, and that will be a minority party, just like there are those far right parties in various countries in Europe that are the minority, not the ruling party or the majority. While it would be best if such people would change, even if Trump goes away, clearly, there is this element in probably every country, and the key is to keep them in the minority. Then maybe, just maybe the majority of the country can get back to acting like adults and governing, not constantly obstructing. Maybe then, such a thing as a moderate republican can exist again because that is way better than what we have now. How is it that the level of discourse in our country has come to this, that some people seem to be more thrilled and so into their own celebrity or power or ratings than concerned with what could possibly be. Van Jones was wonderful for what he said on CNN but he is wrong about one thing, that Trump supporter is not a good person. He is disingenuous, he dissembles, he tries to twist things around in a very sick way, a very common tactic of the GOP, these are not the traits of a good person. How do these people live with themselves, I don't understand. Having said that, you reap what you sow and if some of these extremists want to figuratively not literally chop some heads off of all the extremist enablers, the people who have stoked the fires while profiting, like the Karl Roves and Rupert Murdochs, that would be very satisfactory.
