A beautiful spot and I wonder if DUers might be able to tell me where in the world that is.
I want to go there! Thanks in advance.

(6,358 posts)Try Lake Como in Northern Italy, up at the northeast end looking up into the Alps.
If you're headed there, bring your checkbook. One of the more exclusive resort areas in Europe.
Whoa: didn't see that pic #1 before I posted this. Looks pretty convincing.

(10,007 posts)It's beautiful there. If one has time I recommend starting at Radium Hot Springs, then go to Banff, then Lake Louise, then up the Icefields Parkway to Columbia Glacier, then finish at Jasper National Park. Stunning all the way through.
Watch out for the mountain goats and bighorn sheep on the highway.
