as long as Trump finishes below 50% that makes either Rubio the kingmaker. Trump or Cruz will need to come to him to reach a majority.

Which, I believe, is winner take all. If Trump wins, as expected, then he will be the nominee.

If Rubio's only chance is for Cruz to win enough to prevent Trump from getting a majority and there is a brokered convention and then enough delegates are convinced to vote for Rubio, I doubt that the big money people will continue to back him.

That may change but they are banking on Rubio if this thing goes to the convention unsettled. They hate Cruz just as much as Trump if not more.

I traveled this week wth my husband and two Republican friends. They are appalled at Trump. Think Cruz is crazy. Both voted absentee for Rubio saying he would be a "strong leader."
