CNN's Jeffrey Lord Calls On Hillary Clinton And The Democratic Party To Apologize For Slavery

JEFFREY LORD: Well let me -- I mean, not to -- not to re-litigate Van in my conversation, but I must say, I mean, this is what happens with Democrats on race. fought against Civil Rights in the 50s/60s.

I pointed out multiple times that the parties have swapped ideologies over the years and it was the Dixiecrats (now the Tea Baggers) that opposed Civil Rights.

JFK tried to keep the party from splintering when he was in the Senate before he ran for President but might have been better off encouraging that fracture sooner.
