The Kamikazi Party. What will they do? Any bets?

I'm trying to imagine what the establishment of the party and much of its center must be faing.

The way I see it, they have two choices:

Steal the nomination from Trump at the convention and lose the election (in part because they will have lost Trump's supporters).

Or

Grant Trump the nomination and lose the election (in part because few establishment-center Republicans will encourage people to vote for him; many will stay home, etc.).



The first will preserve the Republican brand, but it may well tear the party apart (for decades?)

The second will destroy the party and the brand (likely forever?)


Talk about a rock and a hard place!
