Discussing protesters, one man says "If I were to talk with Donald Trump, I would ask how are we going to deal with these thugs? Because thugs is what they are".

With no followup to that, she asks "So you're seeing new voters?"

4. The point being, she let the description of protesters as thugs fly without comment

and responded to the prior subject.

I grew up poor you have no idea the crap people would say to me.

6. You don't believe the media is responsible for pushing back on outrageous statements?

I understand that many on the Right including RW media are apt to describe activists of any sort on the Left in uncharitable terms. But when "thug" is applied to a person or group in a Prime Time news show interview, I would expect a request for specifics and proof.

Of course they should be responsible. But, that doesn't make it a reality that they do so.
