The real problem is that Hillary is a lousy campaigner. She really is. Given all the built in advantages, including a lapdog press, the DNC, and some truly suspect games played in primaries and Iowa, she should have had a cake walk. The fact that she did not, and that she will lose some large states coming up soon, that tells us something.

I don't even hope for a pleasant surprise from her, if by chance she manages to prevail against Trump (which I don't think she can). I had my hopes smashed often enough by the current president, who always sought compromise and a deal, rather standing up for principle. Just look at his Supreme Court nominee. Smart, nice, and a complete utter compromise on progressive issues.

If she wins, we have a tough, sad four years ahead of us. If she loses, we have an even worse four years ahead of us.

REASON FOR ALERT

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Pushing Donald Trump as president on a Democratic forum is over the top.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Wed Mar 16, 2016, 10:18 AM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Anti-Democratic propaganda has no place on DU.
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: This is a Democratic board, we don't need to push for a Republican, it is time to stop the talking points like this.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: They aren't pushing president Trump, you dolt, they're lamenting him. Fuck me running, you people are touchy.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I'm scratching my head over this alert.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Disruptive, ott flame bait
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Well it could happen and IMO no one is pushing anything....in fact they seem to be fearful of Trump.

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

Now, the new plan is good. It’s going to be inexpensive. It’s going to be much better for the people. But there’s going to a group of people at the bottom — people that haven’t done well. People that don’t have any money that won’t be able to be care of.

We’re going to take care of them through maybe concepts of Medicare. We have hospitals that aren’t doing well, we have doctors that aren’t doing well. You cannot let people die on the street, OK?

so much of this is showmanship, and he is the master of showmanship.
