(62,444 posts)Yes, the guy has two cams which continuously record traffic at the bridge and, as the post indicates, this is crash #105.
Before you talk about signage, lights and whatnot, he has an extensive FAQ about the multiple safety warnings which the driver, most often a rental truck driver, must disregard in order to be another youtube star.

(2,807 posts)I wonder if he gets any decent revenue from that site. Or the youtube clicks. Or is it just humor for the public good? Actually, he is giving warning I suppose, so there is more than just humor.

It's near Duke University, and there are a lot of rental trucks that get eaten there. I believe those two facts are related.
Crash 104 was a novel one.

(31,464 posts)There is a web site that posts all of the wrecks, sorry but I don't have the name. They keeps cameras on the bridge 24/7. Apparently there are plenty of warning signs on the approach to the bridge, but still trucks get eaten by the thing on a regular basis.

Once, I saw some poor slob end up underneath a truck when he couldn't stop in time.
