** FREE MONEY AND ULTRA-CHEAP CAPITAL IN CONSERVATIVE, RURAL AMERICA - We must all admit that these USDA programs and other government programs are generally helpful to our society, observe Social Security, Medicare, ObamaCare (ACA) and SNAP.

And yet, many Mariposans and conservatives throughout our nation continue to support Republicans (McClintock, Cruz, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney) who vow to cut taxes, cut social programs (for everyone else) and have actually voted to shut down the government. The hypocrisy of conservative voters could not be more obvious. Examples: 'Let the taxpayers pay for that airport so I can land my private jet' or ' let the taxpayers pay for that new stadium so my billion-dollar sports team can sell game tickets' or 'yes, send in taxpayer funded soldiers and equipment to protect my foreign oil-field investments'.

Don't like even a little socialism in our economy? Then please, buy your own:

Police and Fire Dept.
Army
Navy
Air Force
Marines
Schools
National Parks -and we'll see how well that works out to maintain a civil society.

The Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees and Farm-Raised Fish Program (ELAP) provides emergency assistance to eligible livestock, honeybee, and farm-raised fish producers who have losses due to disease, adverse weather or other conditions, such as blizzards and wildfires, not covered by other agricultural disaster assistance programs.

Guaranteed Loan Program?

FSA guaranteed loans allow lenders to provide agricultural credit to farmers who do not meet the lender's normal underwriting criteria. Farmers and ranchers apply for a guaranteed loan through a lender, and the lender arranges for the guarantee. FSA can guarantee up to 95 percent of the loss of principal and interest on a loan. Guaranteed loans can be used for both farm ownership and operating purposes.
