That flight attendant who fled LAX and was caught in New York was a runner-up

in Miss Jamaica World.

Transportation Security Administration officials asked Reynolds to step aside for a random security screening Friday, authorities said.

Reynolds went to a secondary screening area but quickly dropped her bag, ditched a pair of Gucci heels and fled barefoot downward on an upward-moving escalator, Marshall McClain, president of the union representing LAX airport police officers, said Monday.

Reynolds was charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute. It was unclear if she yet had an attorney.

Mrozek said prosecutors believe reports that Reynolds was a runner-up in Miss Jamaica World 2008.

New York University lists a Marsha-Gay Reynolds as having been on the school's 2004 women's track and field team, though it wasn't immediately clear if that was the same Reynolds arrested Wednesday.

It's happened to other "once famous" people before.

Look at Mercury Morris from the Miami Dolphins... retired, forgetten about.. busted for cocaine distribution in Miami in the 80's.... could have been early 90's, not awake enough to look it up right now...

When I was a loading dock foreman for a produce company in Homestead, Fla, I had a guy working as a "stacker", hand-stacking crates off of pallets onto the floors of tractor trailers from floor to roof, nose to tail, to fit more in. Before that, he had been a Golden Gloves Boxer, with a few title belt wins to his name.... before he got hooked on crack and ruined his career....

Peace,

Ghost

trying to get her to model or do photo-shoots, instant face/name recognition, etc...

I have a friend who is a very successful model. She started in Miami as a teenager as a "Coppertone Girl", has been a "Hawaiian Tropical Girl", is a successful women's surfer, been in surfing magazines, been in all kinds of runway shoots for clothing and bathing suit lines all over the world and more. Right now, at 43, she just came off of a job with a group set up for Bike Week in Daytona, where she made about $40 grand, took 4 days off, then has been on 2 photo-shoots, a fashion show, is currently being paid by an alcohol distributor to be on cruise partying and promoting drinks, then taking a little more time off before she goes to Sturgis Bike Week, where she'll make double or triple what she did in Daytona...

Peace,

Ghost

The wholesale number, i won't dispute. But, since we all know the dealers cut before street distribution, the $3 million assumes uncut at $100 per gram. My guess is that the street value would be at least 50% higher, and maybe double.

I don't know anybody that does it anymore. Everyone is too old and is worrying about stroke or heart attack. But, their math suggests $100. Inflation might not have the same impact since it never really cost that much anyway. So, if the margins go from 300% to 200%, it beats making change.

At that time her mother was a nurse and her father a cop.

They said her unnamed co-conspirator has ties to Jamaica and was trying to flee the United States as recently as Wednesday night, possibly with forged travel documents.

Defense lawyers noted that Reynolds — a U.S. citizen born in Jamaica to a nurse and a police officer — surrendered on Wednesday and said she posed no public danger.

The judge approved a $500,000 bail package secured by her mother's and pastor's homes, but her release was put on hold for at least a day to give prosecutors in California a chance to appeal.

If she is freed, Reynolds will be confined to her home in Queens except for nursing-school classes, meetings with her lawyers and court appearances in California.

Prosecutors revealed that JetBlue has suspended her pending the outcome of the case.
