It will be tough without them. He can't afford any big delegate losses.

their delegates are automatically uncommitted.

Winning Wisconsin against Cruz is going to be his biggest challenge. I am not sure if he realizes that and is willing to spend his money on advertising out there.

If the GOP would reform and give up winner take all states entirely in order to control events with more democracy! Trump will not change or make deals until that point. Even if they think he needs to he would only make one of those condescending moves that means little.

After that point however begins new gameplan of bullying and demands and hitting the populist center on jobs and the economy as the "peace candidate". If he is capable of something like that. Who really knows? He can throw away the script he just beat. The people screaming so righteously now know full well they will be grovelling on the carpet of power or resigned to the fall of the party. Suddenly the Dems will be alone and silenced and likely going quiet if Trump transforms and will get little of the punishing help the GOP has had trying to stop their wild child.

But I think he will drag the GOP all the way down, losing the Senate and maybe the House, too.

And Trump has fallen behind slightly in the last two rounds of voting.
