Would Garland have voted with the conservatives or the liberals on this union vote?

If he really wanted to blow people's minds, he could make a comment that he would have leaned toward the "conservative" side on the decision, which would have dealt a severe blow to the teachers unions? But it would have no bearing on which side he may vote for in the future...

Because I think Justice Sotomayer is the best Justice appointed to the Supreme Court in the last 60 years, since William Brennan was placed on the court.

As for Kagan, she voted with the unions in this ruling, didn't she?
