We let the tea party win. we have allowed ourselves to be sucked into the idea of "austerity makes prosperity". Say what you want of Bill Clinton but just the other day he pointed out the folly in this idea and compared us to europe like no one else could. We need to turn our ship around now or we will lose BIG.

They have simply outspent us at everyone turn. The game is rigged, no real way to way. Sorry to be soo cynical but we already lost big....

2. It doesn't matter what we do

I've discovered that evil will always win no matter what we do and I am going to do myself a favor and not fight so hard. I have a feeling that my life is going to get a whole lot harder in the very near future. I'm in a union at a public university in Michigan and I suspect, given the results in Wisconsin, our union won't be around for very much longer. I'm just glad I will retire within the next 10 years, but I suspect I may be fighting my cats for the last of the Tender Vittles.
