Despite a robust ground game, Democrats need to have a powerful presence on the airwaves in order to compete giants Republicans, DCCC Chairman Steve Israel argued in a Wednesday statement on the Wisconsin recall. Without robust air cover, the voice of the middle class will be silenced, he said.
The full statement:
Ive long said that Republicans didnt beat Democrats in 2010, Karl Rove and Koch brothers did after the Citizens United decision. Democratic allies and donors should not allow that to happen again this cycle. Democratic groups wont outspend Republican groups, but they can keep us in the fight.
The election is about who you are forbig corporations, Big Oil, and millionaires or the middle class. Without robust air cover, the voice of the middle class will be silenced.
Leading up to the recall, Democrats touted their Wisconsin ground game as the key to victory.

and deliver a cohesive, coordinated Pro-LABOR, Pro-Working Class message
instead of complimenting the Republicans on their Good Ideas.
...just a thought.
You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their excuses.
