Here we go again. I got into a minor argument with my ill-informed right wing father yesterday. At the time I didn't know about what Schilling had tweeted, I just heard my Dad say something about "thought police" while we were having dinner together yesterday. As always, it really got under my skin. ESPN is a company, they can fire someone if they want to. So, when my Dad tried to tie the whole thing into the government limiting free speech I wondered if he knows that most news stations aren't branches of the Government. So today I did some research. What I found was that Schilling's anti trans tweet wasn't the first super offensive thing he's tweeted. He also tweeted an Islamophobic meme


What a piece of shit. I'm supposed to sympathize with this ass hole? I don't think so. ESPN did the right thing.
