His past statements that US wages are too high is proof of that... as is his own outsourcing for some Trump products. Foreign "guest" workers are routinely lied to about the wages they'll get... and live in deplorable conditions. If they protest, they're deported and go into debt for not fulfilling their contracts.
De facto slavery will never go away. It will always be reinvented.
