Senator Al Franken has introduced a bill to ban the insane practice of former members of Congress cashing in as big money lobbyists.

The bill is called the Close the Revolving Door Act and would help get corporate money out of our political system. This is an extremely important piece of legislation!

The intent is to get congress critters to vote for a bill that restricts their ability to make vast sums of money when they loose their already lucrative and cushy job.

Something tells me this won't get very far.

A bill like this has already gotten no where, I wish him luck. But unless it prevents them from working in any advisory capacity, it's pointless.
