Deputies search for police impersonator who pulled over woman

“The suspect vehicle pulled around her and stopped in front of her as if to block her and then turned the blue lights off,” Capt. Gurley said.

The driver approached her car wearing a dark colored, long sleeve jumpsuit and asked her for her driver’s license.

“She noticed that there was no badge or name tag visible on the clothing,” Sgt. Gurley said. “The suspect asked her to get out of the car but she did not and instead asked him to follow her to a public parking lot before she got out. The suspect again asked her to get out before stating “never mind” and left the area.”

This kind of thing is fairly common and rape prevention training includes talking about exactly this kind of scenario. What this woman did in demanding to go to a public area was exactly right and likely saved her from become a victim.

List of other police impersonator crimes with links is here:

"What kind of example does that set for our children???"

"Kids are going to smoke pot and say, 'Well, the President did it, so it's okay!'"

Cry, kvetch, moan, repeat.

So now I'm waiting for the same hue and cry from the same parents and pundits about how Romney's "youthful indiscretions" are similarly shameful and set a poor example for our children by making it okay to bully and haze the "different" kids...

Still waiting...

This is just the type of tactic serial rapists & murderers use to abduct their victims.

In those days, it was quite difficult to obtain an official uniform (now you can just order them off the net). Did George not question WHY Mitt would want/need a state trooper uniform? This whole thing stinks of the privileged disgusting mind-set.

The more we find out about this goon, the worse he appears. There may be a real monster hiding under that handsome, yet extremely awkward dude. When you take all these past actions together, he appears to be sick & scary. What would he do w/ THE ULTIMATE POWER?

I would never give my 17 year old son a police uniform, ESPECIALLY if I am in politics. The bad possibilities are endless and the upside is I don't know what.

Maybe George didn't have to time to shop.

Maybe the novelty shop with its variety of Whoopie cushions and fake poop was closed that day so he just called for solid from his staff like 'Hey Trooper, Are you a 34" inseam? 33 waist?..okay get undressed and gift wrap it."

"Maybe George didn't have to time to shop."

Maybe George had his own uniform, too, & they "played" Car 54 together!
(Don't know whether to or at that last comment........)

What kind of nut job teen would WANT a trooper uniform, especially in the mid-'60's? The youth then were rebelling against authority, especially police.
What teen guy likes to play dress up, unless it is in theater productions?
I can't think of another reason to have one of those uniforms, except for power over others.

Seriously, what kind of goofy, screwy family is/was this?
