Obama campaign "admits" fundraising defeat in May

That is the title of Sam Stein's article tonight on HuffPo, re: Romney outraising Obama by 17 million dollars in the month of May. So, Sam says that fact has prompted Obama's team to "admit" they were out-fundraised last month. To admit it. As if they needed to concede the irrefutable truth. The facts. The cold hard numbers. Reality.

So...Sam, really there is no story here. At least not as you have presented it. You can't admit or concede something like this. Romney raised more money. It's a fact. You don't admit such things...they just are. Romney outraising Obama in May is a story because Obama never gets outraised by anybody. Until now. So that's a story. But to say Obama's people are admitting defeat...because they were outraised...requires no such admission. It's just a fact, plain and simple. Nothing more, nothing less.

HuffPo should stick to their wheelhouse: side boob stories and copying/pasting from the AP wire.
