Raise Minimum Wage Surely You Jest

Raise the minimum wage. Is this a joke? We need to get rid of the minimum wage and create a maximum wage for business owners. No worker in the country should get more that what the free market dictates. That should be the maximum wage whatever that turns out to be. Americans make too much already and need to be brought down to Chinese wages.

And why stop there. According to Mitt and the GOP labor laws are obsolete. They propose a work till you drop labor environment. Employers need a 120 hour work week. Want a lunch break. Too bad it is up to the employer. Want to rest room break punch the clock it comes off your pay.

Minimum wage of $10 and hour that is thievery and communism. No one is worth that the CEO needs a new mansion.

and all income above a certain level, maybe 500,000/yr to be really generous should be taxed at 95%.
I dont care where it comes from, capital gains or otherwise.
If someone cant live on a half a million a year then they are pitiful.

but prices for EVERYTHING YOU BUY will also jump by a huge percentage. For injstance If the cook at the local jack in the box made 20.00 hour, the company will increase all prices accordingly, same goes for homes, electricity, water, trash, cars, boats, the prices for EVERYTHING will go up.

In theory, minimum wage increases are supposed to raise the price of goods.
In reality, it has failed to make much of an impact, if any.

The problem we have now, instead, is wages aren't going up, but the cost of living is.

if that money is spread around fairly rather then hoarded you can avoid the inflation.
Even if you dont have an actual minimum wage of that amount you get a tax refund sufficient to bring your hours worked to that level.
If you get more then that then you dont get the refund.
